F.A.Q.
You have questions... we have answers!
Do you ship?
While we're flattered by your interest, we do not ship our birds. All of our transactions are conducted locally in Matthews, North Carolina.
Do you breed other birds?
No. At this time, we do not have plans to breed other species of companion birds.
How do holds work?
If a customer wishes to put a chick on 'hold' before it is ready to leave, they will be asked to put down a 50% deposit of the full purchase price. The other 50% of the total will be collected at time of pickup. The hold guarantees your chick for up to a week after the go-home date.
What is this band on my bird's leg?
The band on your cockatiel's leg is a special leg ring designed to help identify them. "DMG" indicates the breeder, the number following it is the baby's unique code, and the two-digit number at the very end is the year they were hatched.
Does my cockatiel need this leg band?
Whether or not you choose to keep the leg band on your cockatiel is completely up to you. It is a split band, designed to be removed easily if need be. However, if you want to reach out about your chick in the future, this will help identify them.
